School Spirit

This watercolor was something I created to enter into a contest at my college. The project was to create something about our college and what it means to us. The building in the artwork is the first building the college built where all of the classes were held when the college first began. In the sky is a flying Greyhound. Our mascot is a greyhound but the reason that he has wings is to encourage the artist mind in following your weird dreams. The girl in the watercolor is me as a child, excited to find a path to her career and follow her whimsical mind.
