“Pandora’s Box,” is based on a Greek mythology story about Pandora whom was given a box by the Greek gods. Pandora opens this box, letting free all the evils of the world but one thing remained inside the box: Hope. This artwork shows the escape of the evils.

The box was created using a table saw, and a laser cutter and engraver. I created the designs on Adobe Illustrator and then used those files for the laser cutter and engraver. The hand is a plaster cast of my hand. After casting, I added clay to the ends of the fingers to create the claws and more plaster to the back of the hand for the scales.
