Lore is a painting with meaning I don’t typically embed in my artwork. The raven has always drawn my attention. In some folklore it is known as the holder of ancestral knowledge, an intelligent messenger of information. This painting shows a raven being suffocated by the ribs of humanity. The clock shows that over time, if we do not pass down important information and knowledge, it will disappear and cause destruction.
